Your Hammer Custom Homes package includes the creation of a top-quality custom design. Working with John Hammer's design experts, you'll create a concept that can be built per your specifications and meets your budget requirements. Your design drawings will show the exterior look (front, rear, and side elevations) of your custom home, as well as the custom floor plan that makes your dreams a reality.

Working with architects can be a slow and expensive process, so this saves a lot of time and money. When you're satisfied with your design, it will be turned into detailed construction drawings that are the plans for building your dream home. This process speeds up the permit process and gets your project going fast.

With Hammer Custom Homes, all of your wants and needs for a new custom home build will be met to the T. We have a long tradition of designer homes and customer service.

The Process:

  • Introduction- We meet with our customers face to face to hear about your vision, ideas, and goals for your custom home.  Whether you have your home plans already selected or need help with finding just the right plan, we are here to help you with each step of the design and build process.
  • Homesite- We will walk your lot or acreage together and imagine the possibilities to maximize the potential of your homesite.
  • Design Plans & Engineering- Our design and engineering team will work with you from start to finish to refine the floorplan and reflect your vision and ideas for your new home.
  • Budgeting- we use real bids from our trusted subcontractors so we can get you an accurate preliminary estimate.  We will meet to go over the estimate and prioritize finishes and features that go in each space for your home to fit your budget.
  • Amenities and Interior Design- We will give you a list of suppliers and showrooms to visit to select the allowance items for your home such as cabinets, flooring, lighting, appliances, plumbing fixtures and more.  Our interior design team is available to assist you with your selections and review samples with you, if needed.
  • Financing- We are an approved builder through many financial institutions in the area and can help you through the process of securing a construction loan, if needed.
  • The Build- Once your home has been designed and financing has been secured, our team will handle all the details of the build from beginning to end.  We will break ground soon after the permits are issued and you will begin to see your dream home become a reality.  We will update you on the build by communicating with you regularly and be available to answer any questions you might have throughout the build.
  • Maintenance & Warranty Schedule- Hammer Custom Homes provides a one-year warranty for materials and workmanship on all their homes.  We also provide maintenance schedules for our customers so you can keep your home looking beautiful for years to come.
